CONFINI/BOUNDARIES
An exhibition/competition reserved to non-professional flickers from all over the world.

Organised by CreActive and Sguardo Urbano

A project created by the Flickr (www.flickr.com) online community, the largest and most prestigious community of photographers on the Internet bringing together about two million photographers from all over the world: amateurs, fans and professionals who with, and for, photography create relationships. The objective, shared with the festival, is to experiment new photographic projects linking the virtual internet communities with real events.
The exhibition is the result of shared ideas and a selection of photographs on the subject of "borders" created entirely online. A collective representation from a different viewpoint. A unique and original legacy of ideas, perspectives and testimonies allowing one to look beyond borders with a multiple perspective: the border as a restriction, as a frontier, as a line of symbolic, cultural, social and linguistic distinction, but also a place for possible integration putting into communication two or more different worlds, different cultures, or where conflict is generated.

760 photographs competing, 1.150 photographers who have joined in this initiative from all over the world, Italy, the USA, France, Hungary, Poland, India, the United Kingdom, New Zealand.
